Our semi-automatic version among our leek weighing lines is
suitable particularly for small-sized producers but at the same time
competes with the automatic line considering the fundamental characteristics.
The product is adjusted variably, hold to the position by a holding-down
device and cut by a special knife on the leaf side of the leek.
This line is characterized by a comparable accuracy in the combination of
package weights, and is in no way inferior to the automatic version
regarding its functionality: The leek can be shortened by a knife on the
leaf side before being combined to packages and afterwards being transferred
to the packing unit. The capacity of 20 to 30 packages/minute at a package
weight of 1.000 g should also not be underestimated.

The semi-automatic machine is combinable in many ways with our packaging
units (Link zu Porreeverpackung) or even with machines from other
manufacturers and is also suitable for similar vegetables or fruits such as
e. g. rhubarb.
