The Strauss company which was founded in August 1996, has its roots
in 1945 when Paul Strauss, grandfather of today's General Manager
Joern Strauss started business in constructing small machinery for
the fruit-growing industry. In 1973, his son Guenter Strauss
broadened the range of products, also building packing machinery
especially for fruits and vegetables. He managed his company until
the mid-nineties before his son Joern founded Strauss
Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH in 1996.
After more than 50 years of experience and
rigorous research we are well-established all
over the world for our machinery and professional
know-how. However, improvement of our technique as well as
the satisfaction of our customers still rank among our top
priorities.
Our Range of Products
We completely design and build machines for the grading, weighing
and packing of various sorts of fruits and vegetables - mainly white
and green asparagus, apples and leeks but also similar products.
Particular mention deserves our complete grading, weighing and
packing line for asparagus. The complete and automatic processing
includes the washing, quality grading, cutting and finally packing
of the asparagus.
