The high-capacity Strauss combination weighing line with automated transfer enables you to create precise bunch weights from the continuously determined individual weights of the products in the weighing trays. The bunches are then automatically transferred to the connected packaging machine.

Thanks to a specially developed weighing process, the Strauss weighing line is very accurate even at high speeds. Due to this weighing system, the pre-set bunch weight lies within the tolerance range specified by the customer. Products that cannot be assigned to a bunch within these tolerance limits are fed back to the weighing process via an integrated return system.

The weighing line can be extended by a feeder belt with fresh cut system, which cuts the asparagus to the desired packaging length at the same time. At the weighing machine’s 6 – 10 chutes, automatic placement units fully automatically transfer the bunch to a connected packaging machine like the STRAUSS Bunching line, the STRAUSS GUB or a Flow-Pack machine (as is the case in the video).
