The high-capacity Strauss combination weighing line enables you to create precise bunch weights from the continuously determined individual weights of the products in the weighing trays.

Thanks to a specially developed weighing process, the Strauss weighing line is very accurate even at high speeds. Due to this weighing system, the pre-set bunch weight lies within the tolerance range specified by the customer. Products that cannot be assigned to a bunch within these tolerance limits are fed back to the weighing process via an integrated return system.

The weighing line can be extended by a feeder belt with fresh cut system, which cuts the asparagus to the desired packaging length at the same time. At the weighing machine’s 6 – 10 chutes, the customer can choose between collecting cups, bag filling devices for frozen asparagus or automatic placement units. The latter automatically transfer the bunch to a connected packaging machine.
